Mindy- I love reading. I was a slow reader back in high school, but college solved that. I started enjoying reading after baby #3 was born. My friend's were readers and pulled me in.
I never understood why my mom, an avid reader, enjoyed it so much. I thought reading was so boring. But now that I'm a mother of 4, I get it. I love just taking a break with a good book.
I need some more summer reads. I'll check out your list. I just finished the "Me before you" series by Jojo Moyes. I liked them.
I also read "Ungifted" by Gordon Korman. It's about kids in middle school and a robotics team. Lots of parallels with my real life 😂. If you haven't checked it out, it's pretty entertaining. Anyway- enjoy summer!
Amy Andersen (HHS classmate 😉)
AMMMMYY!!! I'm sorry it took me so ridiculously long to respond. There was a comment situation. In that I wasn't seeing them. It's worked out now. I'm so glad that you found us here! I actually just picked up a book by Gordon Kormon at our school bookfair, so I'll have to give his others a try! Glad you liked Me Before You. If you see this, you should give A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman and Educated by Tara Westover a try.
